I like Chakkarrs suggestion of the Paladin or Nightmare for the EM damage, and I know that Minmatar ships have great EM resists, so a Tempest or Varg might also work. So I'm definitely not the expert on them. When I did live in 0.0 I used PvP fit Tempests and Ravens a lot, modified with an active rep. And this is 'IF' you want bling for what you do. If I was in a 'Base' system somewhere I would probably go for a CNR over a Golem. So for me the Covert/Nullifier is what is important. But when I go to 0.0 I sometimes fly 20 - 60 jumps. I've not been long back from a long hiatus and even before I wasn't a master at the game or anything. I hear Tengus are great but I don't know how they stack up against a CNR or Golem. What would you suggest Raven? Other options I've considered would be like a Golem or something along those lines. Other suggestions are valid though, I ran them in a Loki before I had my carrier with no real problems, a lot slower though, tengu lacks drones and is dealing much lower damage with EM missiles, if you get webbed you are dead as several corp mates found to thier cost.the next best thing is a Nightmare or Paladin IMO, have seen them both used to great effect in drone anoms. However, I lived in a VERY quiet system and as such had time to do that, although I always kept aligned to a pos and watched local like a hawk - having alliance eyes on the pipes into your territory also gives great intel that can give you plenty of notice to get to safety. Then simply recall sentries, release fighters (Templars) and kill all the drone battleships.I fitted a faction EMP smartbomb which I would wipe out all the tackling frigs and close orbiting cruisers.ignore the rest, the BS is where the money is.warp in the noctis alt about half way through and start tractoring in all the poo. They are very effective, especially in the horde with the 4 bunkers in the middle that trigger the waves - nice thing in a carrier is your tank is so high I could fly in and deploy sentries, pop all 4 bunkers - this spawn all the waves and aggro the entire room. I used to carrier rat in the drone regions, before the loot changes I would dual box with a noctis to scoop drone poo. How much more dps can I get if I switch to a CNR? In the short term though I may go for a CNR. BTW I rat in the Drone Regions and they do omni damage.
